Approval workflows are the most-used and least-loved muscle in most finance organisations. They're either a Slack thread that nobody owns or a rigid system that finance ops have to bend to every quarter. We build for the team that wants neither — clear chains of responsibility, surgical override points, and a complete audit trail.
What we ship
Severus runs on a two-tier architecture: a gateway that talks to the browser and the backend services and a canonical core that owns the data model. Today the product covers documents, expenses, and invoices end-to-end with native ZainBox / ZainPay disbursement on the Nigerian rail. Multi-region support and additional payment partners are next.
Where we're from
Built in Lagos by an engineering team that's been on the receiving end of approval workflows in fintech, telecom, and platform. We've taught Slack what an approval is and we never want to do it again.
